Activities involved: -Must have the ability to perform piping stress analysis. Must be autonomous

-interface with other disciplines: layout, process, material, equipment..
The good profile should be a candidate with a BE in Mechanical Engineering who started his career in layout and who is working actually as a stress engineer (for 3 years).

Civil Engineer Senior level BE/B Tech or ME/M Tech ( Civil/Structural) with 8-15 years in Oil & Gas/Engineering/Petrochemical/Refinery
-Onshore/Offshore or both

1) Defines the civil list of activities, list of deliverables and their dates of issue in accordance with contract requirements and time schedule
2) Issues the civil design philosophies and update applicable general specifications
3) Prepares and performs the civil design review
4) Attends interdisciplinary design reviews and coordination meetings
5) Manages and is the technical reference for civil works engineers, designers and draftsmen
6) Controls and signs all civil deliverables
7) Controls and manages subcontracted activities inside or outside group
8) Ensures the achievement of assigned goals and the fulfillment of the project quality requirements, the contractual obligations and HSE comittments
9) Takes any corrective action within civil group necessary for this purpose
10) Reports to project PEM and to civil head of department whenever required
11) Controls and reports civil design activities progress
12) Calculates and monitors performance indicators
13) Co-ordinates with other discipline specialists and obtains input necessary to perform the civil design
14) Takes care of any modification of contract scope and issues trend notices when necessary
15) Issues the REX(feedback dossier) at the end of project engineering phase
