• Tips about Resume Registration:
  
  Simply send an email with a properly worded subject line with your full resume as word.doc attachment for FREE registration. And please follow these guidelines While emailing your resume for a job. Please ensure that:





• 1. Your name is included in your email id that is ...sender's address. This is useful in remembering your profile and in search. Always send resume for a job position from your personal email ID which you are likely to use for longer durations. Avoid official email ID

• Most important: Please state Your Nationality, Valid Visas and Work Permits (if any ), Language Skills, your contact numbers and address Prominently in the resume attachment and cover letter. This would be very useful in finding suitable jobs matching your skills immediately.
  
  For many of the contract openings Local candidates Citizens, Green Card, H1B candidates and Work Permit holders are preferred.
  
  For longterm contracts and permanent positions many of our clients do sponsor work permits / employment visas.

• Send a BRIEF covering letter in the body of your email along with the resume in Word.DOC attachment. DO NOT send Photos, Certificates or images. Please keep the size of your email to the minimum size. Large attachments cannot be downloaded from our server.
  
  What should be included in the covering letters while applying for a Job and sending resume?
  

• 2. The subject line of the email should contain your skills and the job position applied for.
  

• To illustrate this:
  (1) If you are a Java Programmer with  5+ years experience in J2EE, then, the most suitable words to describe your profile would be " JAVA J2EE 5+ years Architect /Programmer"
  (2) An  Engineer having experience in Embedded Development in Audio codecs would serve his cause by the words " Embedded Development Engineer--Audio Codecs"
  (3) A Network Administrator having experience of 10 years of experience in NMS systems may use  " Network Administrator NMS 10+ yrs - "
  (4) If you are a Mechanical Engineer and having experience in Design Engineering in the OIl & Gas Industry, with 5+ years Experience, then, the most suitable words to describe your profile would be " Mechanical Engineer -- Design - Oil and Gas 5+ years"
  (5) An Electrical Engineer having experience in maintenance in the process industry would serve his cause by the words " Electrical Engineer -- Maintenance- Process Industry"
  (6) A Chartered Accountant having experience of 10 years of experience in manufacturing Industries with Accounting and Project Finance may use the words, " Chartered Accountant - 10 yrs - Manufacturing Industries - Project Finance
  (7) A software engineer with experience for 5+ years  in Java / J2EE Technologies with Weblogic  and looking for a position as Team Lead may include the words " Team Lead Java J2EE Weblogic 5+ years" in the subject line.
  (8) An Engineer with experience in Testing with Tools such as WinRunner, Load Runner, Rational Robot etc could indicate "Test Engineer - WinRunner, Load Runner, Rational Robot -- 3+ years

• The above illustrations are only indicative but not exhaustive. You may choose appropriate words to describe your brief Profile in the Subject Line of Email

• 3. Languages: Mention your level of proficiency in Foreign Languages, if any. But for God's sake don't misunderstand  "English" as a Foreign language. English is a "Must Language". Proficiency in German, Japanese, French, Spanish, Chinese etc. would be considered as  a plus.
  

• 4. Please keep the size of your attachment to as minimum  as possible. And always send a properly formatted resume. Avoid RTF / Zip / Html files.
  
  

• 5.Do not send photographs, image files or copies of certificates unless asked for. Please avoid Images of your Employers or Certifications. Always send your resume as  WORD.DOC attachment only. And use a brief covering letter in the mail message indicating your areas of specialization, tools and packages used, and the Specific job you are looking for.
  

• 6. Current Location and the Locational preferences also may be indicated.

• What should be included in the covering letters while applying for a Job and sending resume?

• It is generally believed that a neatly written CV / Resume is important in making a good first impression. However, it is equally imperative to spend time on compiling the covering letter. A CV or Resume should always be accompanied by a covering letter, even if the advertisement does not ask for one.
  
  

• The covering letter should be a maximum of one page.( 200 words)
  

• Word process the letter in the same style as your Resume.
  

• State what job you are applying for and where you saw the advertisement with a reference number if required.
  

• Show in your comments that you have understood the requirement quite well.
  

• Outline why you specifically want this job and expand on any skills you have that are directly relevant to the job. Be courteous and confident, using positive statements.
  

• Include any relevant information that is not covered on your CV - do not duplicate information.
