Job Description
The candidate will be responsible for:-
Check and review ITB documents
Make clarification/deviation lists of ITB documents
Prepare piping stress analysis procedure
Analyze piping stresses for critical lines using CAESAR II etc, to realize stable piping systems
Instruct and/or review piping loading data to other disciplines
Prepare specifications for piping mechanical supports, such as bellows, spring & snubber, etc.
Prepare supports package including special supports design
Prepare piping stress analysis reports
Check and review vendor documents for piping mechanical supports
Instruct and coordinate subordinates, such as junior piping stress analysis engineers
Coordinate and/or negotiate with clients, vendors and other discipline engineers
Desired Candidate Profile
10 years or more of experience in piping engineering, including piping engineering at the construction site
Piping arrangements and piping drawings
Good English communication skills
Knowledge of standard international styles of business communication and experience in the preparation of business and technical documentation ccc

LEAD PIPING ENGINEERS - Nigeria
Our clients, a reputed Oil & Gas Design Engineering Company in Nigeria requires lead Piping Engineers with 8 to 20 years of experience in piping design engineering with experience in onshore / offshore oil & gas.

Minimum Education and experience :

Bachelors Degree in Engineering
• 8-20 years experience in upstream oil & gas projects

Applicants are to be able to perform the following tasks:

· DESIGN ENGINEERING AND CALCULATIONS
· PIPING STRESS ANALYSIS USING CAESAR
· PIPING PLANS, GENERAL ARRANGEMENTS AND ISOMETRICS

PIPING DESIGN ENGINEERS - Chennai

Position: Senior Piping Design Engineer.

Educational Qualifications:

Degree in Mechanical Engineering with about 10 – 15 years of experience.

Areas of experience:

1. Ability to conceptualize plant layout.
2. Development of equipment layout and plot plan.
3. Development of piping general arrangement drawings.
4. Preparation of isometrics.
5. Preparation of material specifications for piping and supports.
6. Development of support design.
7. Knowledge of codes (API, ASME etc.) and standards (E.g. NACE, NFPA, IBR etc.)
8. Knowledge of various vendor packages.
9. Review of vendor drawings and documents.
10. Knowledge of safety engineering.
11. Checking and reviewing of piping layouts and inter discipline layouts.

Fields of experience.

1. Refineries, petrochemicals and oil & Gas (Offshore and onshore).

Software knowledge:
Minimum 5 years of working experience in piping design and exposure to PDS / PDMS. Shall be able to develop equipment, piping, structural modeling etc. and to extract isometrics.

Responsibilities:

1. To lead a team of piping engineers/designers and draft persons.
2. To provide guidance to the designers and drafting persons.
3. To plan and organize work to meet schedules.
4. To interact with other disciplines such as process, civil & structural, mechanical instrumentation etc.
5. To attend project review meetings and to prepare progress reports.
6. To review project progress periodically and take corrective action.
7. To maintain quality of deliverables.
