Senior SQL Server DBA with Database Oracle DB2 Sybase


Qualifications & Experience:
Bachelor's Science degree (B. S.) in Computer Science or Information Technology
7 to 10 years in Information Technology
Minimum of 5 years spent designing, implementing and administrating real-time, SQL Server 7.0 / 2000 relational very large database(s) solution for general business systems.
Experience with other database platforms such as DB2, Oracle, or Sybase preferred
Quality course training preferred

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

1. Expert level Microsoft NT or Win2K server operating system, and database connectivity.
2. Expert knowledge in MS/SQL Server 2000 and/or Access 2000 databases, (MCDBA certification)
3. Expert level SQL and Transact SQL to develop efficient, real-time database solutions to avoid any database performance issues.
4. Expert knowledge of n-tier architecture, including front-end application design, use of business / data objects, and back-end database development
5. Advanced Programming XML, DTS2000, VB Scripts, ADO in Visual Basic 6.0 (DLL/COM) and ADOX in C# / .NET
6. Expert knowledge and skills in very large database architectures, data replication, and high availability of all databases, data security and multi-sourced data updates.
7. Expert knowledge of database design, data integrity, tuning and administration procedures
8. Knowledge of business data elements across diverse company databases
9. An excellent written and oral communication, by building rapport with customers, internal staff and is customer-centric.
10. Supervise 3 to 5 people, Manage competing demands in an environment with frequent changes, delays, or unexpected events. Skilled in analysis, and develop alternative courses of action.
11. Technical and working knowledge of industry standard database technologies, including database design, data normalization and data implementation.
12. Ensure team documentation support TL9000 database procedures, metrics and certification
